Standardized Exam Accommodations
We have successfully helped individuals with disabilities acquire accommodations on tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, USMLE, COMLEX, MPRE, and various state bar exams and specialty medical boards. Standardized exams are constantly changing, in both format and delivery (i.e., remote exams, computer adaptive exams, AI proctored exams, etc.). We have helped countless parents and students navigate the frustrating, time-consuming, and overwhelming processes of preparing initial applications for accommodations and appealing partial or full denials of accommodations.
We passionately advocate for children with disabilities to ensure they receive the free appropriate public education (FAPE) that they rightfully deserve. We are here to guide families through the often complex processes of evaluations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, hearings, and much more. In addition to supporting students in traditional public school settings, we have also counseled those attending private schools, as well as numerous college, law, medical, and other professional students as they seek to obtain the necessary disability accommodations that are crucial for their success. These accommodations play a vital role in helping students compete fairly, gain access to their curriculum, and pursue their academic and career goals. This includes not only testing accommodations, but also access to technology, assistive devices, course modifications, and other adjustments. Students seek our counsel to explore and pursue their options prior to submitting an application or after receiving a partial or full denial of accommodations.

Higher Education Discrimination
We have a deep understanding of federal disability civil rights laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Individuals with disabilities are often excluded, treated differently than their peers, and subject to hostility and retaliation just for having disabilities or needing and requesting accommodations. This type of treatment is unacceptable and illegal. We take pride in advocating for the fair treatment, dignity, and respect that our clients deserve and are entitled to under the law.
Employment Discrimination
We have significant and extensive experience in counseling a diverse range of professionals, including, but not limited to, physicians, attorneys, and educators, concerning the important aspects of when and whether to disclose the presence of a disability. Additionally, we provide guidance on how to effectively request reasonable accommodations and what steps to take if an employer has unjustly denied accommodations or engaged in discriminatory practices based on disabilities. While it is true that many of the same disability civil rights laws that protect students with disabilities also extend their protections to employees with disabilities, the application of these laws can often differ in significant ways depending on the context. We are here to demystify the process so that you can excel in your career.
